    This qualification will provide recognition of the skills and knowledge of individuals who are involved in process safety management and continuous improvement in process safety.

    The four mandatory units will help participants to:

    • Understand the key factors of process safety management
    • Understand hazard identification, risk assessment and management of risk
    • Understand process safety culture and commitment
    • Understand how to implement sustainable improvements in process safety management

    In addition, the learner will choose one unit from the following six optional units to:

    • Understand process safety competence management
    • Understand human factors in process safety management
    • Understand standard operating procedures for process safety management
    • Understand asset integrity in process safety management
    • Understand process safety accident and incident investigation
    • Understand emergency response management

     On completion of this qualification, participants will:
